I’ve even written about how to respond to HTTP requests right from HAProxy: Making HAProxy respond 200 OK to health checks.
Many other scripts that extend HAProxy’s functionality have been made, but that’s not the point of this post.
If you ever need (or want) to test this script in a MacOS machine (or any other Lua script that enhances HAProxy), you’d need a special build of it: one that comes with Lua support.
Homebrew users have an easy time with this - since this commit, an extra option has been added: --lua, making the how installation a breeze:
However, what if you want to install the very latest HAProxy version from source?
Installing HAProxy from source with Lua support
Since Lua HIPAA Compliant Messaging is an Android App and cannot be installed on Windows PC or MAC directly, we will show how to install and play Lua HIPAA Compliant Messaging on PC below: Firstly, download and install an Android emulator to your PC; Download Lua. ILua is a small easy to use Lua interpreter for Mac OS X with a simple user interface. Main features: - Runs Lua programs in displays output. Source code slightly tweaked in version 1.0.1. Added ability to reset current Lua state in version 1.0.4.
To install HAProxy from source on a Mac, we need to follow some steps:
install HAProxy dependencies (you can discover these using brew info haproxy if you have brew);
gather the source code from the official website;
“untar” it; and
compile the code using a set of flags that will allow us to build with the proper Lua support.
Aiming at Lua 5.3, it’s required that you first install it (you can use Homebrew for this):
To properly satisfy the first step though, it’s also important that you have the other dependencies as well:
Having that done, proceed with the download of the version you want (at this time, 1.9-dev0 is the very latest release):

Prophet 5 vst free download. Being in the source directory of the HAProxy version, make sure that there’s no --export-dynamic property set in the LUA_LD_FLAGS line of the Makefile.
Such flag is not available in the MacOS linker, so, with it, your build will fail.
With the Makefile fixed, proceed with the compilation:

I know it have been asked millon of times but I was wondering if it would be possible to download lua scripts and run it inside an iOS app.
In essence, it is just a data structure and the functions are already present in the iOS app, so I don't think it would be a problem.
I understand that downloading arm assembly is a problem but I don't see why lua would.
For example, if that is so, then a json wouldn't be allowed, because you could change the behavior of your app by for example, switching the flow or calling x functions.

Does anybody knows if it would be allowed or Ok for an app to run downloaded lua code?
